About Pottery Workshop & Cachupa Lunch + Optional Hike

Join us for a unique cultural experience in Tràz di Munti, a small rural area behind Monte Graciosa, the famous mountain in Tarrafal. At the Centro de Artes e Ofícios - Tràz di Munti, you will learn how to make traditional pottery can join an artisanal pottery workshop, try homemade Cachupa and hibiscus juice, and take an optional 2.5-hour walk through the beautiful valley of Fonte Lima to Tarrafal beach. Pottery is a strong part of Santiago’s culture, and Cachupa is one of Cabo Verde’s most traditional dishes.
